The Bad poetry blues band
The Bad poetry blues band
This central Ontario-based, Canadian 5-member blues band plays the Chicago style of electric blues...with a touch of rock, R&B, and country added for spice. They often play in pubs and venues wanting fun, uncomplicated entertainment. As well, they perform at large festivals, special events, and private parties.
Introduction
The current Bad Poetry Blues line-up has Mick Manning on lead vocals and harmonica, Peter Thorn on guitar, Glenn Girard on Bass Guitar, Les Kota on drums, and has added Phil Smith on guitar and lead/backup vocals. In larger performances, the band often welcomes Joe Blastorah on-stage with his blend of raunchy guitar stylings. The band performs their rockin’ blues shows in Central Ontario, and the Toronto area on a regular basis. Bad Poetry Blues is always able to create a rough individual sound typified by their solid blues-rock raw delivery.
